Arriving in Europe, I had a list of places that I wanted to visit during my stay here. A large majority of the places were in Italy. Italy had always been a place that seemed so magical and with so much history but surprisingly, I've never thought of visiting Verona. My trip to Verona ended up being less than a day long but as a small city, it had it's own characteristics that were distinctly different from other neighbouring cities. Little did I know, Verona was where the famous Shakepearean play, Romeo and Juliet was set. Naturally, this fact made the city a little bit more romantic. You could even visit Juliet's House and step onto her dreamy balcony and of course, get a cheesy tourist photo taken.
