Bruges, Belgium | Travel

Belgium was located right beside Northern France and super close to where I was living - Arras and so travelling there was really easy. Going to Brussels was merely a 30 min. train ride and some other cities weren’t very far away either! Bruges has slowly become more and more of a tourist attraction over the past few years and really the reason why I decided to go. Everyone recommended it as a city to visit and why wouldn’t I want to check another Belgian city of my list?

Bruges didn’t disappoint with its gorgeous and postcard perfect Grote Markt main square filled with cafés, chocolate shops and horse-drawn carriages. I really love visiting small cities and towns because it allows me to slow down and just walk around to enjoy the sites. It’s even better when there are canals and quaint, romantic bridges involved!
